ChanceChat was launched at 12 noon on August 27th, 2007, and we have seen over 4000 unique visitors come to the site in the last three days. We've also received a lot of feedback, from little encouragements, to feature requests, to bugs/typos. We have fixed all known bugs that were sent in thus far, and we're quite happy with how the system has been handling all the requests! Here are some stats:

- The vast majority of you are male, by at least a 7 to 3 margin. This means that if you're male, if you don't mind chatting with another male, please do so. Otherwise, you may have to wait!

- About 75% of you are being matched to another person. The other 25% apparently left without being matched.

- The most users at one time on the system was roughly 100 people.

- It's true, your chats are private! We don't have access to any chat logs.

So, there you have it, stats for the first 3 days of ChanceChat going live. Here are some upcoming features. Be sure to look out for them sometime in late September or early October:

- The ability to see how many users are online, how many users don't have a chat partner.

- The ability to transcribe your chat sessions to a publically-viewable page, so that others can see your chat session. This will only be viewable if both people consent to it being published, and it's deemed suitable by the ChanceChat staff.

We are still evaluating whether it is the right time to add more options to the matching algorithm for ChanceChat. Up in the air are the following:

- Geographical location

- Religion

- Chat Topics

- More flexible age selection

- Hobbies

- Any other suggestions?

In the meantime, please help us get the word out! The more of a community we have here on ChanceChat, the better everyone's experience will be. Digg us. Give us Reddit points. Invite friends and family on the site. Etc.
